Philippe de Momper : ウィキペディア英語版 | Philippe de Momper Philippe de Momper (1598–1634) was a Flemish Baroque landscape painter. ==Biography== Momper was born and died in Antwerp. According to Houbraken (who called him simply 'Momper' in a poem about the members of the Bentvueghels), he joined the Bent with the name "Eervrugt" and was a landscape painter from Antwerp.〔 (Philippe de Momper Biography ) in ''De groote schouburgh der Nederlantsche konstschilders en schilderessen'' (1718) by Arnold Houbraken, courtesy of the Digital library for Dutch literature〕 According to the RKD he was the son of Joos de Momper and the brother of Frans de Momper, who travelled to Italy with Jan Brueghel the Younger in the years 1622-1624.〔(Philippe de Momper ) in the RKD〕 He became a member as a master's son of the Antwerp Guild of St. Luke on his return to Antwerp in November, 1624.〔
